Qigong

In conjunction with some professional medical help, you may also like to consider some energy healing to make your medical treatments more effective. Whenever I have been in a complete muddled state, one thing that always helps me feel better and get momentum moving again is my favourite practice of Qigong.

A complete routine does not take any more than 20 minutes per day, but you can do exercises that are as short as a few minutes and feel the difference. It is also very useful for people who sit at a desk for long periods of time. The practice can help them to get more energy and improve circulation and feel rejuvenated after hours of staring at a computer screen. Qigong will also help with mental clarity and focus.

  1. Keeping our self happy and healthy is very important as it is reflects in our behavior and directly it affects our near and dear ones.

The tips you have mentioned here such as giving proper rest to our body, exercising, meditating and eating healthy food are essential when having a stressful life. But at some point of life, we might feel depressed. I have checked the link of healing you provided and definitely go through it.

  3. Hi Liz,

Beautiful post. You mention you recommend to meditate daily… I’ve given it a go now and then but don’t think I’m doing it correctly.

Can you give some tips or resources on how to mediate correctly? I’ve read many great benefits about meditating.

Also, is there a good time of day to meditate? I heard doing it as soon as you wake up is a good time.

    Regards
    Mason

    1. Hey Mason, thanks for your comment. I know what you mean about not being sure if you are meditating correctly. It took me years to find something that worked for me. In the end I find using some kind of biofeedback technology helps. I decided if I am going to spend all this time meditating, I want to be sure it is actually having an impact on my body. So, I used to hook myself up to home devices to get direct feedback. One I came across was invented by Heartmath, called the EMwave. It has a little sensor you attach to your ear which picks up your heart rate variability. That helped me be in touch with what it felt like to be in a meditative state based on the biofeedback I was getting from the machine. I also used music with headphones (and still do) which contained binarual beats which have been show to affect brainwave activity so you get into get into a meditative state more easily and quickly. One of my favourites is from Mindvalley-you can check it out here.
In terms of when is the best time, I think morning is definitely the best time. 🙂
