The week ahead looks to be a little challenging on an emotional level where several reversed cards are indicating internal energy that is not being expressed. The Star reversed as well as the Judgement card reversed suggest that perhaps there is an area you are not living in true alignment with who you know you truly are. There may be some sacrifices to make this week in pursuit of your own personal happiness and you will be challenged to let go of ideas or situations that no longer serve your highest good. The week is heading to a grand finale with The Death card and you may be challenged to allow the natural cycles of life to play out that relate to personal identity or a spiritual rebirth.
The Star Reversed
The week begins with the Star Reversed on Monday and in Tarot this often relates to unexpressed creativty, or blocked creativity or a feeling that you are not inspired or connected to something inspirational or larger than yourself. You may be feeling that you are longing for a deeper spiritual connection somehow, but not sure where to turn or that you have lost a connection to something or someone that you felt was strong in the past. This card sets the tone for the week where you may have a tendency to feel a little depressed and there is a need to turn your thoughts to areas that feel better to you, rather than focusing on what feels wrong or what is lacking in your life.
The Eight Of Cups Reversed
The 8 of Cups reversed on Tuesday suggests you know there is a situation in your life that you need to make some changes that would lead to feeling more fulfilled, but you are feeling resistant to this change for whatever reason and finding it difficult to move forward without a sense of loss.
Four Of Pentacles Reversed
Wednesday comes with a feeling that you need to hold onto ideas or material possesions that give you a false sense of security with the Four of Pentalces Reversed, but you must be willing to let go in order to feel the deeper feelings of security that you desire. You might be overly attached to money and be hesitant to spending it for fear you do not have enough. If you find yourelf having these feelings it is an opportunity to look within and question the bigger picture of where else you are feeling insecure about your sense of security and take some steps to change what needs to be changed in order to have more peace around this issue.
Judgement Card Reversed
This is particularly relevant on Thursday as the Judgement card reversed suggests a need to look at where you are being authentic and where you are not. Ask yourself if there is a situation where you feel you are not living in alignement with your purpose, or if you feel lost about your purpose altogether. We are happinest when we feel we have a mission regardless of how big or small that is. On the bigger scale it might relate to wanting to help thousands of people live a better life who are faced with an unfortunate situation. On the smaller scale it could relate to providing the best life for a child or pet that you can knowing that doing your best here also affects your personal happiness. The Judgement card in Tarot asks you to surrender to something that goes beyond yourelf, and the Universe is asking you to surrender to a higher calling.
Ace of Swords
Friday is an opportunity for mental clarity with the Ace of Swords upright. The turmoil of the beginng of the week has lead you to feel some strong mental resolve about what your next actions will be which will lead you into Saturday with the Death card.
This week, Saturday is like the grand finale to internal energies that you may have been trying to shift. The Death card challenges us to welcome the new, despite it possibly feeling like the world as you know it is ending which can be scary on one level. However, Death is related to the cycles of nature-you cannot have birth without death, and therefore you cannot have a new situation in your life without letting go of some old habits, thought processes, situations or even relationships. Embrace it with as much positivity as you can muster.
Five Of Cups
By Sunday you may be faced with a choice where you can either choose to look at the glass half empty or half full with the Five of Cups upright. The figure in the picture is faced down looking at the cups that have fallen over, yet unaware what cups still remain standing. It is human nature to focus on what we don’t have in life, but this is the where we must train our mind to focus on that which we want, rather than what we don’t want.
What will you choose this week? It may feel easier to focus on the unwanted out of habit, but the path of least resistance is to focus on what helps us to feel more positive in our life.
Your thoughts are powerful, attractive magnets-attracting one to another. Thoughts attract to themselves, and you attract thoughts to you by giving your attention to them. Those who speak most of prosperity have it, and those who speak most of sickness or poverty have it. It is LAW. It can be no other way.
